This page lists SSW field mini tests created by Tommy’s Legal Service for foreign nationals preparing for Japan’s Specified Skilled Worker status.
For Specified Skilled Worker status, passing the relevant skills test and Japanese language test is important. However, passing the tests does not automatically guarantee approval. Your current status, employer, actual job duties, employment contract, support plan, and application documents must also be checked carefully.
Available SSW field mini tests
You can check basic points for each SSW field before taking exams or before applying for status of residence.
Check safety, protective equipment, reporting, and workplace Japanese used at construction sites.
Agriculture Agriculture Mini TestCheck harvesting, sorting, farm tools, agricultural chemicals, and safety points.
Caregiver Caregiver Mini TestCheck communication, infection prevention, accident prevention, reporting, and caregiver workplace Japanese.

What to check after passing the exam
Even after passing the tests, there are important points to check for a Certificate of Eligibility application or a change of status application.
