Who this consultation is for
This is an initial case review before formal engagement. We review your current circumstances, possible procedures, required documents, deadlines and practical next steps.
Individuals and families
Visa extensions, change of status, COE, permanent residence, naturalization, spouse or family-related matters, job changes and past applications.
Companies and employers
Hiring foreign nationals, work visas, Specified Skilled Worker, Business Manager, job descriptions and employer-side documents.
Support organizations and referrers
Registered Support Organization matters, Specified Skilled Worker acceptance and allocation of responsibilities among the parties.

How the consultation is conducted
Online consultation
Conducted through Zoom, Google Meet or another agreed online platform.
In-person consultation
Conducted by appointment at our Yokohama Motomachi office.
Chat consultation
Real-time consultation for 60 minutes through WhatsApp, LINE or WeChat.
Consultation fee
Consultation fees and advance document review
The consultation fee must be paid in advance. Submission of the form alone does not confirm your appointment. The fee differs depending on the payment method.
Tax included / 60 minutes. Please transfer the fee directly to our office bank account. Bank transfer fees are borne by the client.
Tax included / 60 minutes, including a 5% online payment handling fee.
The payment methods actually available depend on your device, browser and other conditions. Please select from the methods shown on the Stripe Checkout page.
Cases requiring advance procedural research, review of multiple issues, refusal or reapplication analysis, Business Manager review or other complex assessment may be charged at JPY 11,000 by bank transfer or JPY 11,550 by Stripe online payment, including tax. We will notify you before payment if the specialist consultation fee applies.
Simple advance review of up to 5 A4-equivalent pages is included in the standard consultation fee.

If your case may require a specialist consultation, you request review of 6 or more pages, the document volume is unclear, or the materials are special or complex, please wait until we inform you of the applicable consultation category and total fee.
Spreadsheets, long chat histories, video or audio files, documents in languages other than Japanese or English, comparison with past applications, refusal analysis, criminal or deportation-related matters, Business Manager cases, financial records or other specialist materials may require an individual quotation regardless of page count.
Booking flow
How to book

Submit your booking details and documents
Enter your preferred dates, consultation topic, estimated document volume and planned payment method, and upload any necessary documents.

Check the automatic reply email
The email will contain the Stripe online payment link and our bank transfer details. For Stripe, you may select from the credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPay, convenience store payment or other methods shown on the Checkout page.

Wait for a fee review when required
If your case may require a specialist consultation, the materials exceed 5 pages, or the materials are special, complex or of uncertain volume, please wait for our notice of the applicable consultation category and total fee.

Complete payment
Pay the confirmed amount by Stripe online payment or bank transfer. For convenience store payment, payment is completed only after you pay at the store and Stripe confirms receipt of the funds.

Receive appointment confirmation
After confirming payment, we will generally contact you within 24 hours to confirm or adjust the schedule.

- You may upload up to 3 files, with a maximum size of 5 MB per file.
- Please combine multi-page materials into one PDF where possible.
- Do not upload a My Number Card or any document showing an Individual Number.
- Mask My Number, passwords, PINs and unrelated financial information.
- Large files, spreadsheets, video, audio and unsupported formats must be sent separately after arrangement with our office.
Cancellation and scope
Cancellation and important conditions
- A full refund is available for cancellation made at least 24 hours before the scheduled consultation start time.
- No refund is available for cancellation within 24 hours, no-show or after the consultation time has passed.
- Document review fees may not be refundable after review work has started.
- Late arrival does not normally extend the scheduled ending time or reduce the fee.
- Some matters may be outside the scope of Gyoseishoshi services or may not be accepted by our office.
