Consultation, assessment and additional research scope

The initial secondhand dealer permit fee for an individual remains JPY 55,000+ including tax.Ordinary document checks within the agreed application scope are included; an assessment fee is not added automatically.

Standard consultation remains JPY 11,000 for 60 minutes and specialist / complex consultation JPY 22,000 for 60 minutes, including tax and simple advance review of up to 5 A4-equivalent pages. Detailed evidence checks, research, written opinions and application drafting are separate services.

Initial document assessment starts at JPY 33,000, detailed eligibility assessment at JPY 55,000 and additional research at JPY 22,000, all including tax. Assessments cover agreed documents and a written result. Documents, questions, persons, deliverables and deadlines are fixed in the quotation. New research quotations normally use up to 2 hours of actual work as the base scope, with agreed institutions, inquiry counts and a time cap. Exceeding the scope or cap requires an agreed revised quotation. Waiting for replies is not billed as working time.

Application drafting and filing, obtaining official certificates, translation, authentication, visits, accompaniment, urgent work and other out-of-scope additions are quoted separately. Government fees, postage and other expenses are separate. Work already included in a contract is not charged twice. Paid work begins only after agreement on scope, fee and payment terms and confirmation of the required payment.

If formal engagement for the same matter is agreed within 30 days after consultation, one base consultation fee is credited toward the application fee. Assessments, research, expenses and payment fees are not automatically credited. The existing 5% Stripe fee, discounts and payment conditions remain unchanged. New conditions apply to new quotations after this update on October 23, 2026; existing quotations, confirmed bookings and contracts retain their agreed terms. Approval or acceptance is not guaranteed.
