About this mini test

This page is a simple self-check page for people who want to work in Japan in the agriculture field under the Specified Skilled Worker status.

What is the SSW Agriculture field?

The Specified Skilled Worker Agriculture field is for people who work in Japan’s agriculture sector. It may include crop farming, harvesting, sorting, shipment preparation, and livestock-related work depending on the actual job duties.

However, whether your employer is appropriate and whether your actual work is covered by the SSW Agriculture field must be checked before applying.

How to read your score

8 to 10 points You have a good basic understanding. Please continue studying with official learning materials.
5 to 7 points You have some basic knowledge, but should review farm safety, workplace Japanese, and reporting.
0 to 4 points Please review basic terms and official learning materials before trying again.
Before applying Passing the exams does not automatically guarantee approval of SSW status.

What to check after passing the exam

Even after passing the tests, there are important points to check for a Certificate of Eligibility application or a change of status application.

1. Applicant Current status of residence, period of stay, past applications, refusals, exam results, and Japanese test status.
2. Employer Farm or agricultural corporation, actual job duties, employment contract, salary, social insurance, and acceptance system.
3. Documents Exam certificate, employment contract, support plan, employer documents, and applicant documents.
